11:35: Identifier Technology Health Indicators (ITHI)
- Savenaca Vocea: Vice President Engagement Oceania, ICANN
- Abstract: ITHI, or Identifier Technologies Health
Indicators, is an ICANN initiative to measure the "health" of the
identifier system that ICANN helps coordinate. The goal is to
produce a set of indicators that will be measured and tracked over
time which can be used to determine if the system of identifiers is
overall doing better or worse. This is a long-term project, expected
to run for a number of years. We are reaching out to invite more
partners (ISPs and TLD operators) to participate in this project.

11:50: IPv6 Deployment: Dual-stack or IPv6-only?
- Jordi Palet Martinez: The IPv6 Company
- Abstract: The presentation explains why, today, deploying a
complete dual-stack network (for both wireline and cellular ISPs)
doesn't make any sense, even not using CGN, and instead it makes
sense to deploy as much as possible IPv6-only access (sometimes even
in other parts of the network, including DCs) and IPv4aaS (IPv4 as a
Service), and possible approaches for that.

12:20: Fiji Internet Exchange Point (IXP) update and next level
of services
- Magnesh Reddy: Telecommunications Authority of Fiji
- Abstract: This session aims to provide an overview and
update status of the Fiji IXP and recent upgrades. It will also
share on the new initiatives in implementing security baselines for
the IXP, incorporating security and vulnerability assessments in its
design and developments.

12:35: USP network and FJ Domain update
- Kisione Finau, Edwin Sandys, and Navneet Maharaj: University of South Pacific
- Abstract: USP is the largest education institution in the
Pacific having over 30,000 students and operates a largest private
Wide Area Network (WAN) across 33 Million Square K/Meters in the
Pacific. Also it incorporating an array of local area campus
networks, server and management systems throughout its 12 member
countries in the Pacific with the main campus in Fiji as the hub.
USP has a very large and complex Network Infrastructure also deploy
various technologies including IPv6.
USP is also the ccTLD Administrator for the dot FJ domain since the
inception of Internet and the first organization in Fiji to use
Internet.
Ensuring that USP remains effective, a team of network engineers
work around day and night to provide the critical infrastructure and
platforms for USP to function. IT Services is regarded as an
indispensable driving force within the USP. ICT is pervasive; it
touches and profoundly impacts every aspect of the University
activities.
This presentation will provide the History - FJ Domain, Challenges,
PKI, DNS Security, IPv6, Platform Upgrade, Opportunities, Future
development in these areas.

actions that operators should consider beyond their network, why
Routing Security requires global collaborative effort to validate
routing information on a global scale. We will cover automated
information validation and securing global routing information using
RPKI. For the Pacific NOG members, working steps of going about
creating and publishing ROAs will be presented. As an example, a
